Madi (they/them) is a practiced storyteller, actor, writer, and improviser. They have taught and performed improvisation across the globe from Los Angeles to Japan, New York to Dubai. Currently in Los Angeles, Madi is a faculty member for Impro Theatre and The Groundlings as well as a recurring guest performer in The Groundlings “Uncle Joe” show. They are a member of Ripley Improv, an all female and genderqueer improv collective that creates stories about women who save the day, save the world, and save each other. Madi works as a coach with Laughter On Call, an interactive comedy company born out of the mental health sphere and dedicated to bringing laughter and human connection to the workplace.
In the last two years, Madi’s stage plays LADY FACE and SYSTEMS were produced as Equity staged readings by the bi-coastal company Bespoke Plays. Currently, Madi is a company member at The Road Theatre and playwright for their Under Construction 4. Madi’s stage play will receive a public reading at The Road in early 2024. Most recently, Madi wrote, produced, and starred in the short film EVERY MORNING, an award winning sci-fi love story between two women produced by LGBTQ+ owned Spacetime Productions.
