Celia specializes in the intersection of storytelling, visual communication and play. She began her career in marketing and graphic design, creating visual tools for brands to teach, sell, and engage. More recently, she started Boredless Games and produced GLYPHiTS, a set of illustrated magnets that allow people to speak entirely through pictures. She funded the project through Kickstarter, where it went viral and sold all over the world.
At The Goodman Center, Celia teaches workshops and webinars on storytelling, presentation design and strategic communications. She is a coach with CSH’s Speak Up! program, where she trains people with lived experience of homelessness to tell their stories and become affordable housing advocates. In her spare time she is working on an illustrated book of parlor games.
