Kirk Gustafson: Balancing the “wow” factor with user-friendly design
Kirk Gustafson is Associate Creative Director with Lipman Hearne’s Interactive Practice. Since joining Lipman Hearne in 2000, Kirk has taken the lead in a range of interactive projects, including banner ads, microsites, and large enterprise sites. He brings an unmatched mix of understanding of the nonprofit market, content sensitivity, strategic thinking, marketing experience, and interactive savvy to his designs for clients that include Harvard University, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Rush University Medical Center, Keck Graduate Institute, and the Chicago Historical Society.
Kirk earned an M.F.A. in graphic design with a minor in interactive design from Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.F.A. in graphic design from Millikin University. He is an active member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
